Rod Sproson
Author of St Anthony’s Fire
Author’s website at www.rodsproson.com

Rod Sproson is an avid researcher of history and loves to bring high adventure to his readers.  His full biography can be seen on his website.  His current whereabouts are unknown although some have said he has been exploring the far North.   His jousting skills are second to none and he has also been known to get up at 5 a.m. to prove that the pen is indeed mightier than the sword.  St Anthony’s Fire is his first novel an historical adventure set in 14th century France.

“Henri’s hand had already been firmly grasped by Baibars.  But at the sound of his name he recoiled.  His eyes flashed hatred.  Here was the very devil incarnate who had terrified Henri during his childhood; the man who had sent his assassins to murder Henri’s father; the sole cause of the loss of his family’s lands and their flight to the borders of the Mediterranean at Tyre.

He raised his eyes.  They were without expression.  He studied the man’s face.  He would remember it.  In the confusion and general euphoria no one noticed him trembling as he fought to control his rage
